Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Doodle accesses, uses, stores and protects information obtained through Google APIs.
Google account data accessed
Doodle requests read-only access to Gmail using the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly. With the user's permission, Doodle may access Gmail message metadata and content solely to display those messages inside the desktop application.
How Google user data is used
Google user data is used only to provide Gmail viewing functionality. Doodle does not use Gmail data for advertising, profiling, marketing, analytics or unrelated purposes.
Data sharing and storage
Doodle does not sell Google user data or share Gmail message content with third parties. Gmail message content is retrieved directly from Google and is intended to remain on the user's device. OAuth credentials are stored locally on the user's device so authorized access can be refreshed.
Revoking access
Users may revoke Doodle's access at any time from their Google Account security settings and may delete locally stored OAuth token files.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Doodle's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
